Rindi abroad
International Business
Rindi Energy has been working abroad since 2003. This is an area of the business that we expect will develop a lot. The reason to this is that we continuously keep discovering new markets and expanding our international activities. Currently we have two plants operated in Poland, one in Chonice (2003) and one in Hajnowka (2005). Since the fall of 2007 we are also cooperating with a district –heating partner in the town Kolobzreg.
In Norway we have a Joint Venture with a partner called Daimyo AS. They are experts in the recycling business and together we have, earlier this year, established Daimyo Rindi Energy AS (DRE) in Oslo. For the moment we are planning to and applying for concession/permission for district heating in four or five different places in Norway.
In other countries in Europe we have or still do feasibility studies of district heating and/or bio-fuel markets. Within a short amount of time we hope to be able to present a new country in our international business area.
In our work with developing our international affairs, the amount of bio-fuel and distance to a heat and power plant is very important. This is what is taken into consideration when choosing the site. The aim of the entire business is to reduce the emission of CO 2 and give our customers heat and energy produced of renewable energy to a price on the right level.

Rindi in Sweden:
Rindi is located in ten smaller communities in the middle and south Sweden as wholly owned companies. In Sweden, Rindi has 70 employees, divided between three regions, with a central boiler in each location and regional overall administration.
